Having struggled for so many years to get this project of the ground I decided to change the focus of the challenge, to redirect it away from me personally and to focus on the broader disabled community.

I have created this trust fund out of the frustration I have experienced as a disabled person. For twenty years I have been involved with various organizations for the disabled and 3 distinctive problems have emerged namely a lack of accessible transport (both public and private), a lack of accessible accommodation and a lack of education or access to facilities for education.

With these frustrations in mind I decided to use this world challenge as a fund raiser for the disabled primarily here in South Africa but also for all the organizations we plan to see and visit during this challenge.

So I am hoping to raise $1,000,000.00 plus which the trust will use to help out in addressing the problems mentioned above.
