Project Cuba is a challenge I need to do to get final closure. Reconciliation and forgiveness is a huge part of my life as of recent.

At first it was just me that wanted to meet with the Cuban Mig Pilot but I was subtly persuaded that it would be great if we could document this meeting on film.

I was introduced to a very special lady Linda de Jager from Endgame Media.

What an incredibly enthusiastic person. At first I just wanted a 3 minute promo video to assist with fundraising for this Cuba trip. We were then going to do a short 26 minute documentary. Her enthusiasm was so contagious that the 26 minute documentary evolved into a 45 minute documentary. This has now even expanded further and we are planing a 75 minute full length 'movie'.

Linda is very knowledgeable when it comes to the Bush War! She has produced a 2 volume DVD set on the Bush War which extensively covers both sides of the conflict - SA and Cuba/Angola. See her Website www.endgamemedia.co.za.

Colleagues of mine who are with the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 322 started a fundraising drive to get me and a film crew to Cuba to document this meeting.
